Today Leon Draisaitl's fiancee Celeste Desjardins shared several updates on the couple's ongoing wedding preparation as the big day approaches.

Leon Draisaitl is most well known for being a franchise changing player on the ice. Last season he helped lead the Edmonton Oilers to the Stanley Cup Finals but did ultimately come up short losing to the Florida Panthers. After the season Leon Draisaitl and his then girlfriend Celeste Desjardins made a life changing announcement. Draisaitl proposed to Desjardins and the couple got engaged in July during the offseason.

Since getting engaged not much has been known about the couple's relationship. Of course, Leon Draisaitl has been busy preparing and starting his season while Celeste Desjardins continues her successful acting career. Today Celeste Desjardins decided to share a glimpse into the couples lives and the preparation for their big day.

Celeste Desjardins took a few moments to Instagram to share throughout the last few months. This included photos of Celeste Desjardins shopping for wedding dresses.

Picking out wedding dresses is often an incredibly exciting moment for a soon-to-be bride. The rest of the wedding plans are also likely underway. It will be interesting to see if we get any looks into Leon Draisaitl's role in planning the big day for the couple.

Leon Draisaitl and Celeste Desjardins have often been very private about their relationship. They first went public back in 2018 with their relationship and since then have shared small updates here and there. As of now, the exact date of the couple's wedding is unknown.

On the big day, it is expected that several Edmonton Oilers stars including captain Connor McDavid will be in attendance. When the couple announced their engagement Connor McDavid's wife Lauren Kyle was one of the first people to congratulate them on social media.

For now, Leon Draisaitl, Connor McDavid, and the Edmonton Oilers will keep their focus on the NHL season and getting back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. So far things have not gone as planned for the Oilers but hopefully, they can turn things around and send Leon Draisaitl off to his wedding this summer after a successful season.
