Oilers Evander Kane takes a shot at Sportsnet journalist Mark Spector

Evander Kane has once again found himself in the news. This time for some beef he has with a journalist from Sportsnet named Mark Spector. The two have been trading public shots back and forth at one another.

The first shot in this back-and-forth conflict was taken by Mark Spector earlier this week. In an interview, Mark Spector talked about how he felt Evander Kane was bringing more distractions and drama than he was worth.


Now Evander Kane of course heard the frustrating comments from Mark Spector. In a press conference recently Evander Kane decided to respond and take a subtle shot right back at Mark Spector.






This obviously was a direct response to the comments from Mark Spector calling Evander Kane a source of drama within his team. It seems that Evander Kane is not worried too much about causing drama and likely created more with his comments.

The Oilers hold a lead in their series against the Kings and will need Evander Kane to continue succeeding to close out the veteran Kings.
