An Oilers fan screams during the minute of silence for Adam Johnson

Former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Adam Johnson passed away to his injuries following a skate blow to the neck.

The news was made official today.

As part of the Heritage Classic, the Oilers and Flames paid tribute to Johnson with a minute's silence.
