Since he signed a six-year $10.5M AAV contract in Calgary, Jonathan Huberdeau has been a disappointment for Flames fans.

He doesn't look at all like the 100-points scorer he was when he played in Florida.

With a new head coach, many believed things would turn and he would be better, but that's not been the case yet.

Ryan Huska, the Flames' coach, made a drastic decision during a game.

Huberdeau Benched for the Third Period: Huska Explains his Decision in Post-Game Comments

Huska explained his decision to bench Huberdeau for the third period during his post-gme press conference:

Huska on the decision to bench Huberdeau in the third:
"I though he had an off night and when we went into the third period, we wanted to try to get a little bit more flow and we went with the guys we felt were going and that's pretty much all it came down to."

Huberdeau, with six points in 12 games, has been struggling to find his rhythm ever since he left Aleksander Barkov's line.

We can see that the passion is still there, but that's not all you need to play in the NHL.
