Huge statement on Brendan Gallagher, who could start the Habs' season on the first trio with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield

There's no doubt that Gally brings a much-needed energy to the top 6, as we've seen for years. But can he keep up with the pace? According to him, his summer of training has been very beneficial, but there are doubts. We regularly see him come back to the bench folded in half, not to mention the fragility of his body, which he has put to the test throughout his career.

According to McCagg, the 3rd trio will consist of Slafkovsky, Newhook and Anderson, leaving room for Gallagher and Pearson to round out the top-six duos.
