Rumours linking the Ottawa Senators to the Montreal Canadiens have been ongoing since Sens GM Pierre Dorion was at the Bell Centre to watch the CH-Canucks game. Dorion openly mentioned in a press conference that he wants to find a veteran defenceman to support DJ Smith's team defensively, which has major deficiencies in this area. Edmundson could become Kent Hughes' next Ben Chiarot on the trade market, and Dvorak could be the next Toffoli.
