Do you remember Yanic Perreault? The center played three seasons with the Habs in the early 2000s. The Sherbrooke native was known to excel in the face-off circle, as well as being able to thread the needle quite regularly, as shown by his 247 career goals. The youngest of his four sons, Gabriel, is currently waiting to be drafted by an NHL team. According to the lists, he should go in the first round. Since my third grade, I study in English and my world remains English-speaking. But at home, it's still in French. Chicago and Montreal would be the two teams for a dream scenario, replied Gabriel. But no matter which team, I will be so happy. I just want to hear my name. - Gabriel Perreault Perreault shattered Auston Matthews' U.S. under-18 program record this season with a 132-point performance. Prior to this year, Auston Matthews held the record at 117 points in 2014-15. Jack Hughes, Clayton Keller, Patrick Kane and Cole Caufield have also reached the symbolic 100-point mark in recent years. Kent Hughes will therefore have the chance to make this young home a dream with the Panthers' first-round pick, if he does not get selected before. Gabriel is a Quebecer playing in the NCAA, a league that the CH staff is particularly fond of.
