It was a real trench war last night between the New York Islanders and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Clearly, the fact that the two teams are neck and neck in the overall standings brought the tension and emotions up a notch. Basically, it was one of those famous four point games between the two teams, where one team adds two points to their record and the other loses the chance to make it two by burning a game to play. In all, there were over 60 minutes of penalties handed out throughout the game, and it was the Islanders who ultimately got the better of the Penguins, 4-2. <div align='center' style='padding-top:20px;padding-bottom:20px;'><img src='https://i.marqueur.com/habsetlnh/i/photo/236238.webp' width='100%' border='0' alt='image' loading='lazy' defer /></div> However, it was one sequence in particular that caught the eye. Following a save by New York goalie Ilya Sorokin, a free-for-all involving all 10 players on the ice broke out right next to the net. In total, 44 penalty minutes were given out on this sequence, which is incredible! This is the kind of game that we see less and less in today's hockey, and it reminds us of the good old days. Here is the sequence in question: <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/HockeyDaily365/status/1627845700078673921?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1627845700078673921%7Ctwgr%5E9fc3d075824525692c870db908a16d41c2be45d0%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fembed.attr.dev%2Fapi%2Fiiffrraammee%3Furl%3Dhttps3A2F2Ftwitter.com2FHockeyDaily3652Fstatus2F1627845700078673921key%3D8cf2f0e21f24a80b733beb826dbad781v%3D1app%3D1'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/BR_OpenIce/status/1627845388400214017'> </a></blockquote></div> Credit: <a href='https://www.habsolumentfan.com/ailleurs-dans-la-lnh/ca-a-brasse-solidement-a-pittsburgh-ce-soir?fbclid=IwAR3yM9GDBJlOetvX3wz0-NEzf_6mtg3K1g678Ou_rDsfzICBpQ1cvGIA74E' class='link_marker' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>HabsolumentFan</a>
