The Edmonton Oilers captain, Connor McDavid, sent a strong message to his fans after clinching the first Finals berth of his career. For the first time since the 2020-2021 season, a Canadian team will get a chance at winning the Stanley Cup. The last time it happened, the Montreal Canadiens lost in five games against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
