Barkov had to leave the ice with the trainers and didn't return for the rest of the game. But now, there are whispers that his injury might be a broken jaw. The Panthers have a 2-0 series lead, but losing their captain could spell trouble. It might give Connor McDavid an easier time on the ice, opening up opportunities for the Oilers to claw their way back into the series. However, if the NHL's Department of Player Safety looks into the hit and considers Barkov's injury, Draisaitl might find himself sitting out too, which could put a damper on the Oilers' Stanley Cup hopes.
