Bad news for the Flyers, as one of their best, Travis Konecny, will not be able to play against the Habs tonight at the Bell Centre.

John Tortorella's team lost their leading scorer to an apparent hand injury in Thursday's game in Boston. He was sent back to Philadelphia for a medical evaluation.

Tortorella was off to the best start of his career with seven goals and 12 assists for 19 points in 17 games. All indications are that Joel Farabee will take his place on the first line.

In addition to Konecny, the Flyers have a lot of injuries to contend with, as they are already without forwards Sean Couturier, James Van Riemsdyk and Wade Allison, as well as defenseman Ryan Ellis.
