Connor Bedard is probably the best NHL prospect since Connor McDavid. The young right-hander broke Eric Lindros' record at the World Junior Championship, as he was named the tournament's best player and of course won the gold medal. If there is one thing that is appreciated in any athlete playing a team sport, it is humility. Bedard showed it in a post-game interview and surprised everyone, even the reporter, who started talking to him about his performance, only to be cut off rather quickly: I don't want to talk about me right now. We're not going to talk about me. We just won the biggest tournament in the world and I love this group, I love this country. This team, this city has been incredible. - Connor Bedard

The reactions on social networks are simply magical, while everyone admires the young man after such words. What a tournament for the young star and we cant wait to hopefully see him in the Blue, White and Red colours.
