ESPN fires head commentator right before Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals

Chris Chelios had a long and distinguished NHL career. The three-time James Norris Trophy winner was able to play until the age of 48, which is very rare.

Having split his career between three teams - the Canadiens, Blackhawks and Red Wings - Chelios has a wealth of experience, which has earned him a position as an analyst with ESPN.

Now that his contract was coming to an end, the media simply decided not to do business with him again.

The comments about him are disastrous. Several Internet users who follow ESPN have testified to this, and it's something of a relief for them.

In light of what people think, finding a position with another network may not be so easy for Chris. To be continued...
