When it comes to NHL rivalries there's none bigger then the one between the Montreal Canadiens, and Toronto Maple Leafs.

No matter where they are in the standings neither team wants to lose to each-other.

So when the Toronto Maple Leafs tried to embarrass the Montreal Canadiens who are currently rebuilding it wasn't going to go over well.

During the Leafs final game vs the Habs, the Canadiens felt the Leafs were trying to embarrass them by running up the score, then putting their number one power play line out when the game was already over.

The Leafs then decided to pull Ilya Samsonov, and replace him with there emergency backup Jett Alexander. One of the Habs players didn't like the disrespect and that was defenceman Chris Wideman.

Wideman would then tell the Leafs that Karma will get them saying:

"They'll get what they deserve in a few weeks."
