Players from all over the world are gradually arriving in North America to start preparing for training camps. For the Habs, we saw that several young players are already present, notably with the presence of five of them at the LASSO festival on Saturday night. In Europe, the camps have already begun, and one Canadiens prospect is conspicuous by his absence. Emil Heineman is not in Sweden with his team, as he is in Brossard for training. All indications are that he will spend the season here. The impressive thing about the youngster is that he seems to be on a mission. He arrived in Laval for the last 11 games last year, where he accumulated 9 points, including 7 goals. Quite impressive for a youngster taking his first steps on a North American ice rink. Remember, too, that at last year's Habs camp, he was one of the last to be cut, along with Owen Beck. Both had been the team's revelations. Could he cause a surprise and earn a spot with the Habs right from the start of the season? We know that Martin St-Louis and company aren't afraid to play young players, so it's a real possibility. We'll see what he can do in September, but if there's one prospect to watch this year, it's him, in my opinion.

Is field hockey starting again soon? ⏳
Is field hockey starting soon?
