This persona continued after he found himself in another scrap to open the season for the Capitals. <h2>Fight Breaks Out Between Division Rivals</h2> Tom Wilson and the Washington Capitals faced off against the Pittsburgh Penguins last night. With about 30 seconds left in the game, the Capitals found themselves down 4-0 to the high-powered Penguins. Wilson decided he wanted to set the tone for Washington's next game and their series with Pittsburgh. This led to an awkward scene where on one side of the ice a brawl between two players was commencing. On the other side, several teammates were concerned for their injured teammate. In the end, everyone came out of the game okay and the rivalry grew between the two sides. Over the offseason, much of the focus has been on how Carbery wants the team to play a more offensive style. Last night was the first time we got to see this in action. Unfortunately for Carbery, it wasn't the amazing success everyone was hoping for. The Capitals were heavily outshot and only could get 19 shots themselves. They were often held in their own zone and struggled to get sustained pressure. This is something that could be an isolated incident or a troubling trend. If the Capitals are going to get back to the playoffs they need to find ways to create more offense.
