Paul Bissonnette Calls Out the Las Vegas Golden Knights Live on Air For Recent Trade Antics
Paul Bissonnette just went on a rant against the Golden Knights live on television for their use of LTIR and avoiding the Cap, saying out loud what everyone is thinking.

Paul Bissonnette isn't afraid to say what everyone is thinking, and this time it was that the Vegas Golden Knights have some questionable use of Long term injury to avoid going over the cap. With their acquisitions at the deadline, Vegas has placed Mark Stone on LTIR, however, many have noted that this has happened in the past, and Stone plays in game 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Biz took this rant live on TV, saying that they are essentially circumventing the cap.
"I think the question is how do they add these guys?" asked Bissonnette. "The LTIR special."
"If Stone comes back Game 1, what are you saying if you're another franchise that might have to play these guys Game 1?" asked Bissonnette. "If he comes back Game 1 do you not feel like there's a repetitive nature here?"
"I'm not saying Stone doesn't have a legitimate injury, but if he comes back Game 1 it just looks extremely suspicious," said Bissonnette. "Am I crazy here? Help me out you people at home! Am I crazy? Does this not look suspicious?"
"If Stone comes back Game 1, what are you saying if you're another franchise that might have to play these guys Game 1?" asked Bissonnette. "If he comes back Game 1 do you not feel like there's a repetitive nature here?"
"But if Game 1 Stone's back and everybody's back, they are playing with a roster that's 10 million dollars over the cap," said Bissonnette.
"I'm not saying Stone doesn't have a legitimate injury, but if he comes back Game 1 it just looks extremely suspicious," said Bissonnette. "Am I crazy here? Help me out you people at home! Am I crazy? Does this not look suspicious?"
Not the First Time Vegas Has Done This Exact Move Sparking Controversy
This isn't the first time that Vegas has done this, and it isn't even the first time they have used Mark Stone as their player on LTIR. It was quickly pointed out on social media that this is just par for the course as part of Vegas' strategy to win.
The NHL actually needs to start investigating this. Either Mark Stone is the softest marshmallow in the league or they're doing this to manipulate the salary cap every single year
If Mark Stone plays again in the first game of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, I think this would definitely warrant a review from the NHL on what is going on, and potentially change some rules so this can't happen year after year.
