Chilling details have been revealed about the events that led Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau to arrive at the accident scene the night of their deaths. Preliminary reports late Thursday night spoke to a severe accident involving the two, but no one was ready for the gut-wrenching news that would soon follow. At least by Friday morning, it was the Columbus Blue Jackets confirming the worst, saying Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau had lost their lives in a crash caused allegedly by a drunk driver. The police have since arrested and charged a local man, Sean Higgins, with two counts of vehicular homicide, among other serious charges.
