Jets fans are not going to want to hear this, but both Josh Morrissey and Connor Hellebuyck will not be able to play tomorrow night against the Blues.

Winnipeg Jets coach Scott Arniel on Friday announced that Josh Morrissey and Connor Hellebuyck will not suit up for the team's first match following the 4 Nations Face-Off hiatus, per NHL insider John Lu.

"Josh Morrissey and Connor Hellebuyck are flying back to Winnipeg today and won't play Saturday at STL."

Kyle Connor will play tomorrow

Kyle Connor, Team USA's healthy scratch for their title game versus Canada, will play against the Jets in St. Louis. Connor, 28, ranks sixth in the league with 30 goals and has 39 assists for 69 points in 56 games.

He was knocked out of the championship game by New York Rangers forward Chris Kreider, who was scoreless with one shot on goal.

Morrissey, 29, missed Canada's 4 Nations final due to illness. Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley took his place and helped Canada to a 3-2 overtime win.

Morrissey has scored seven goals and added 39 assists for 46 points in 56 games this season while playing on Winnipeg's top defensive pairing.

Hellebuyck, 31, played in three of four contests for Team USA, stopping 27 in the finale but giving up three in the defeat.

He tops the NHL with a 34-7-2 record and a league-leading 2.07 goals-against average this season. Eric Comrie will take his place.
