All In. commitment. Roger's is celebrating First Nations Night on March 5 versus the Anaheim Ducks. The evening will celebrate First Nations culture and heritage with special experiences and guests. Through the NHL's 'Hockey Is For Everyone' initiative, they pledge to amplify Indigenous voices and promote inclusion. <h3>The Canucks began their First Nations celebrations on September 24th</h3> In honor of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation <a href='https://community.canucks.com/national-day-for-truth-and-reconciliation/' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>on Sept. 30, the Canucks welcomed First Nations Chiefs and council members</a> from the region to deliver land acknowledgments at two preseason games, on Sept. 24 at Rogers Arena and Sept. 25 at Abbotsford Centre. Spectators were welcomed with impactful performances, such as drummers and Powwow dancers in Vancouver and a traditional welcome song by members of the Sumas and Matsqui First Nations in Abbotsford. The team also collaborated with Musqueam artists Nova Wolf and Chase Gray to design the 2024 orange shirt, incorporating Indigenous symbolism to represent their heritage and inspire future generations.
