This morning it seems as though the Edmonton Oilers and head coach Kris Knoblauch have made a major lineup change for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

New reports are confirming after their frustrating loss in Game 1 the Edmonton Oilers are making a lineup change. Veteran defenseman Cody Ceci will come out of the lineup with Vincent Desharnais replacing him.

Vincent Desharnais Will be back tonight. Cody Ceci looks like the odd man out.

With that change being made Frank Seravalli has now revealed what the new pairs are expected to look like.

At morning skate, #Oilers have Darnell Nurse with Vinny Desharnais ahead of Game 2.

Appears Cody Ceci may be a healthy scratch.

Despite outshooting the Florida Panthers by a lot in Game 1 the Oilers could not find their way to goals. It will be interesting to see if this change gives them the spark they need to tie the series up.
