The Edmonton Oilers have made a massive decision regarding their veteran forward Corey Perry ahead of the sixth game against the Vancouver Canucks.

According to Frank Seravalli, head coach Kris Knoblauch has decided to replace Corey Perry on the line up by Adam Henrique:

"We'll see what develops this morning, but the belief is these are the changes for #Oilers:

Stuart Skinner starts Game 6.

Adam Henrique in for Corey Perry.

Not written in sharpie, some things to sort out this morning."

Henrique has been sidelined due to an injury that occured in the first round of the playoffs, against the Los Angeles Kings.

He tried to get back in the action earlier in the series against the Canucks, but couldn't do it.

In six playoff games this year, the 34 year old veteran managed to score two points, including one goal. As for Perry, he hasn't been able to put his name on the scoresheet yet, in 10 games.

It's quite disappointing for the Oilers to see Perry struggle. However, despite being very useful and productive in recent years, he doesn't have the same role as he used to. He had most of his success playing on the powerplay, but in Edmonton, isn't on the ice in those occasions.

More to come.
