The Ottawa Senators are pushing for a Stanley Cup Playoff appearance in 2024/25, and now their captain has shut down any trade speculation. Over the past few years, the Ottawa Senators have time and time come up short of their expectations, and it's led to plenty of trade speculation. Part of that speculation came true when the team moved on from Jakob Chychrun this off-season, but on top of that, there's been whispers of a trade involving captain Brady Tkachuk. <q>The sens have something cooking right now. I've always said that my number one goal is to bring a Stanley Cup back to Ottawa /.../ the dream and the fire to do it burns even more now, the rumours are nowhere near true. The talent is certainly there, and now if they can live up to expectations, they may be a dark horse heading into the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2024/25.
