William Nylander may miss his third straight playoff game on Wednesday night, and now an insider has revealed the details behind the injury. Despite playing all 82 regular season games again, William Nylander has been absent from the Maple Leafs series against the Boston Bruins thus far, and he may be out for game three as well. There's been plenty of mystery surrounding this situation, and now, Nick Alberga, a media personality in the Toronto Maple Leafs space has offered an insight into the situation; As I mentioned on Leafs Morning Take a few moments ago, it is believed that William Nylander is dealing with a head injury.

According to Alberga, the injury Nylander is dealing with is a head injury, and while that's reportedly due to a collision in the Maple Leafs regular season finale against the Tampa Bay Lightning, some fans have speculated it's much more than that. I remember reading somewhere earlier in the season that he was dealing with migraines most his NHL career and thats why he wanted a tinted visor. Maybe something related or compunded with this?

Whether it's to do with the hit or a long-term issue coming back around for Nylander, there's certainly plenty of concerns over his status, and until we hear an official update from Sheldon Keefe or see him back on the ice for a game, the speculation will continue.
