Today during 4 Nations Face-Off media day former Vancouver Canuck J.T. Miller spoke to the media about facing Elias Pettersson and Team Sweden.

After the continued drama between the Canucks organization and J.T. Miller earlier today the forward once again decided to stir the pot and comment on facing Elias Pettersson.

The 4 Nations Face-Off is set to be an incredible tournament with some of the best players around the NHL representing their home countries in a best-on-best style tournament.

With the tournament set to kick off tomorrow, each team had their media day where players could discuss their season so far and what it means to represent their country on such a big stage.

During Miller's media availability, he was of course asked about the trade that sent him to the New York Rangers and the upcoming matchup with former teammate Elias Pettersson.

J.T. Miller Answers Media Questions About Facing Elias Pettersson

With the Miller and Pettersson feud still fresh on everyone's minds Miller of course was asked if he has any extra motivation to play in the game against Sweden.

To the surprise of many Miller does not seem to care about that game more than any other and is just focused on playing his best for his country.

It's definitely something that [the media builds] up for sure. I'm sure it's more exciting for you guys, but it's just another game for us.

Miller then went on to say he feels this tournament is a great time for him to reset with a new group and find his game again after all of the chaos that the last few weeks has brought.

It's been a busy year in my world [this tournament] is a great opportunity for me to get away for a second, be with a different group, a different scene.

While Miller is pushing aside the importance of the matchup between the two players it is hard to imagine that the former teammates who could not stand each other will have at least a friendly rivalry to one-up each other on the ice.

Only time will tell as Sweden and Team USA drop the puck on Monday, February 17th in Boston at TD Garden.

Until then all eyes will be on the two players and their teams to see how they build toward the much-anticipated matchup.
