In a new interview former Vancouver Canuck Pavel Bure spoke about the feud between J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson calling out the organization for mishandling things. Over the last month, several current and former Canucks have given their opinion on the trade sending J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers. The trade was of course a last-ditch effort by the Canucks to solve the conflict between Pettersson and Miller that was beginning to impact the rest of the locker room.

In the aftermath of the trade, many former players were irate with management and the leadership group for letting things get so bad that a trade was the only solution. Now in a new interview with RG Canucks hall of famer Pavel Bure has given his opinion on the events that led to Miller being traded and who deserves the blame for things ending so poorly.
Pavel Bure Flames The Vancouver Canucks Management For Mishandling J.T. Miller
During the interview with RG Bure was asked about the Canucks situation and became immediately frustrated with management. Bure seemed unable to fathom how a situation between two players could become so unmanageable that a trade was the only solution. If you've got a talented player who doesn't fit into the team, that's a failure of management, he said. If it gets to the point where you have to trade him, something has already gone wrong. This is especially true in the Canucks situation as the problems between Miller and Pettersson had been brewing for years. Still despite the issues Patrik Allvin, Jim Rutherford, and the Canucks management team committed to both players long term with extensions. Bure is not alone in his frustration with his former franchise he is now one of many former players to share his anger regarding how things ended between Miller and the Canucks.
