Throughout the 4 Nations Face-Off, we have seen a collection of the best talent around the world coming together to compete. During the tournament, there has been a lot of debate regarding who the best player at the tournament and in the NHL overall is. Fans tend to be split with many supporting Connor McDavid while others have made arguments for MacKinnon, Sidney Crosby, and an array of other players. During an interview at the 4 Nations Face-Off, MacKinnon was asked to expand on this and talk about why he believes McDavid is clearly the best. With McDavid on pace for 100 points again this season the consistency is unmatched by any other player in the NHL.
