The Los Angeles have officially traded Pierre-Luc Dubois to the Washington Capitals in exchange for Darcy Kuemper.

In breaking news, we learned that a year after joining the Kings, Pierre-Luc Dubois will once again change teams.

Not sure what's out there still on plane but hearing Pierre-Luc Dubois is being traded to Washington

Dubois, went half a point per game in his first season as a King, where he was acquired by the Jets near the NHL draft last summer. It hasn't been exactly a good stinct in Los Angeles, he will now start a new chapter in Washington.

Darcy Kuemper will fill out the empty goaltender role that the Kings have been seeking for a while now in what will be a change of scenery.

Hearing Kings and Caps finalizing a trade involving Pierre-Luc Dubois and Darcy Kuemper

Pierre Luc Dubois had a full no movement clause that would've kicked in on July 1st. Tidy business from GM Rob Blake who saved himself from a disastrous contract.
