In a surprising twist of events in the 2024 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, Matthew Tkachuk of the Florida Panthers and David Pastrnak of the Boston Bruins engaged in a fight.

This is playoff hockey through and through. You have to love it.

Matthew Tkachuk, a known pest took on 60-goal scorer David Pastrnak in a beatdown of the ages in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

This was not the first of everything to occur, many other penalties were handed out throughout the game.

Patrick Maroon also received a 10-minute misconduct on an incredibly soft call because he hurt a Florida Panthers player's feelings. Nick Cousins can't seem to face the music when he needs to.

Finally, it was the absolute melee that occurred behind the Panthers' net that saw a yardsale occur and multiple skirmishes.

Nothing beats fans telling Trent Frederic to save the sucker punch for Nick Cousins.

Game three will be incredibly interesting between these two as the bad blood boiled over beyond what it was initially thought to be.

Patrick Maroon will be on patrol and the big bad Bruins can't look like teddy bears for the second straight game.

With the series heading to TD Garden, Matthew Tkachuk better have his head on a swivel for mugging star 60-goal scorer David Pastrnak as he has his coming tenfold.
