I don't know if you remember, the Canadiens' general manager Kent Hughes made a particularly intriguing and fascinating revelation involving Connor Bedard last August. Obviously, this is all to be taken with a serious grain of salt, but on the eve of Christmas, I thought it would be an excellent timing to get Tricolore fans excited about a possible miracle. Basically, while being interviewed by BPM Sports, Hughes told a funny story about a trip to Newfoundland that he wasn't supposed to take, but that he changed his plans at the last minute because his daughter convinced him in a funny way. Yesterday while I was in the middle of negotiations at home, my daughter is here and I went out to get something to drink. And she said, I just had a premonition! If we go to Newfoundland (for Alex Newhook's Stanley Cup party, a former client and family friend), we're going to have Connor Bedard next year! I've made the reservations and we're off to Newfoundland tomorrow! - Kent Hughes Why not believe in a little Christmas miracle for Tricolore fans! Imagine if Hughes' daughter's premonition comes true, how ecstatic it would be in Montreal when the draft comes to Nashville next June!
