The Edmonton Oilers are finally starting to string together some wins. However, not everyone in Edmonton is having a good time. 22-year-old defenseman Phillip Broberg has had quite the day as his name has been in conflicting headline reports. <h2>New Report Suggest Broberg Is Not Available, NHL Insiders Are Wrong</h2> It was reported earlier today by NHL insider Frank Serravalli that 22-year-old Oilers defenseman and former 8th overall pick Phillip Broberg had been given permission to seek a trade from other NHL clubs. <q>Understand the #Oilers granted permission for Philip Broberg's camp to seek a trade. Since then, neither side has come forward with additional statements clarifying this issue. Frank Serravalli's tweet is still public as well, but there has been no update from him on the matter either. As such, this is essentially a he said, she said situation. We may never know exactly what transpired to lead to this happening but we make a guess based on what the Oilers do next. If they chose to hold onto Broberg then we will know that this was just a rumor. If they do trade him though things will get interesting.
