Fans go absolutely crazy and start calling out the NHL after a terrible kicking missed call

The kicking motion has been the main struggle for NHL referees to keep consistency for. Once the NHL can set a consistent call for all these kicking goals, then we might be able to start understanding what is a goal and what isn't.

If officials could come to a consensus and choose an umbrella rule, the discussion would not even be necessary. Making kicking legal or always disallowing goals are the two possible outcomes.

Another one of these kicking incidents occurred last night, but this one was so terrible that many are beginning to suspect foul play.
