We're all looking forward to David Reinbacher's North American debut. In the last few hours, an announcement has been made and we're all set. An agreement in principle has been reached between the Canadiens and Kloten, Reinbacher's team in Switzerland. The agreement stipulates that the defenseman will play for Kloten, unless he makes his NHL debut. In other words, we can officially forget about Reinbacher in Laval this year. If he makes it to the NHL on the first try, we'll be very happy for him. And if he doesn't, we're extremely happy to have him in Kloten for another year. - Larry Mitchell We know that the development of a defenseman can take longer, and that the CH has a lot of depth at this position. Barring a surprise, the 5th overall pick of the last draft will be playing in Europe this year. It would take an extraordinary training camp for him to play in Montreal.

Kloten and Montreal agree on David Reinbacher https://t.co/LJ3yxGi5gJ pic.twitter.com/L6xXeU0k88- SwissHabs (@SwissHabs) July 27, 2023
