You love to see passion by fans because it stems from love of their respective teams, but sometimes, things go just a little too far.

During yesterday's Stanley Cup Final Game 2, Samantha Rivera, CBS Miami's esteemed reporter, had to demonstrate quick thinking to manage an overzealous fan desperate for his 15 seconds of fame.

Unfazed, Rivera kept her cool, expertly navigating the situation and gracefully wrapping up her broadcast segment, all with the professionalism we've come to expect from her.

Following the game, Rivera didn't let the incident slide. She took to Twitter, posting a video of the troublesome encounter and aimed a sharp critique at Knights fans:

"Listen, I don't give a damn what team you're rooting for - get the hell out of my face when I'm working and respect that I'm here to do my job.

Excited to get back home to some classy #Panthers fans for game 3!!"

It begs the question - what motivates someone to disrupt a live broadcast? All for fleeting fame? It's simply not on. Can't we just let professionals like Rivera go about their jobs in peace?

In light of this incident, it certainly seems like it won't be a challenging task for Panthers fans to demonstrate a higher level of respect than their Knights' counterparts.
