With 31 points in 42 games, the Arizona Coyotes are presently 29th in the NHL. To get closer to Connor Bedard, the Coyotes might be prepared to part with some players at the trade deadline.

Sportsnet Insider Jeff Marek reports that the Coyotes would be willing to trade their number one goalie, Karel Vejmelka.

"If the deal is right, it appears the Arizona Coyotes would part ways with goalie Karel Vejmelka. He's having a wonderful season, on a two-year contract and at just $2.7 million. It would be a great deal for the teams." - Jeff Marek

In 31 games this season, Vejmelka has a 3.38 goals against average and a.902 efficiency.

Maybe Kent Hughes should take a chance on signing this goaltender, who would only take up a little portion of the payroll.
