Three players have been placed on waivers in the National Hockey League today: Jansen Harkins (PIT), Zack MacEwen (OTT), and Radim Simek (SJ).

As for Harkins, he hasn't scored a single point in four games with Pittsburgh this season. Last season in the American League, he had 50 points in 44 games.

For MacEwen, the tough guy for the Senators, he recorded an assist in two games this season.

Finally, Simek, 31 years old, had three points in 44 games during the last season. He hasn't played a single game this season.
