We all love Brendan Gallagher, whose heart is as big as the Bell Centre. The little forward always gives 110%, and we really hope he'll be able to bounce back this year. Realistically, though, Gally has slowed down a lot and his best days are behind him. In fact, according to former CH scout Grant McCagg, number 11 is no longer able to keep pace with the NHL. I held out hope for Gallagher...I passionately defended him and hoped he just needed to get healthy, but it's painfully obvious he can't keep up with the NHL right now, and that's sad to see. He's really struggling. It's sad indeed to come to this realization. Forget his contract, we all want him to be able to produce, for himself and for the team.
