An absolutely surreal scene occurred during an AHL game, as Carolina Hurricanes goalie of the future Pyotr Kochetkov almost scored a Gordie Howe hat trick yesterday. After scoring a great goal late in the game, the goalie's over-celebration set the Manitoba Mooses, the Winnipeg Jets' feeder club, on fire. Here is his goal with his celebration: <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/Canes/status/1631861795731255296?fbclid=IwAR0rnn6MePNiWIxfrZwznVBAzAVAlLYKRUERn42iZoEA9WIxCGw2U6kfZJw'> </a></blockquote></div> Then here is a scrum that broke out right next to Kochetkov's net, where Kochetkov was in the middle of the fight. He was even ejected following this brawl, as Pierre Houde would say. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/ICdave/status/1631875948453961729?fbclid=IwAR0EcnwrzTW_cZO95rtSRkJMfEtaSwSnDxe5vlCyYNao5AuNXuF0noEfwDI'> </a></blockquote></div> Incredible sequence! Basically, all the goalie needed was an assist to complete the famous hat trick.
