The Vancouver Canucks main problem has been the management of head coach Bruce Boudreau, despite an impending trade of their captain and some of the worst asset management in recent memory. The team has handled Boudreau horribly, even though it is clearly known that Rick Tocchet will take over in Vancouver sometime in the upcoming week. Despite all of his efforts to get the club in condition and the tight relationship he had with his players, the Canucks have abandoned him, leaving him without communication or a plan for the future. He was questioned about what it meant to him to be an NHL coach during a current interview. He was deeply affected by the question, and he started to tear up, then he immediately ended the interview.

Source: House of Hockey
