Tonight a major piece of trade news has been reported on social media. According to sources a Flames defenseman has decided he would like to be traded to a new team.

Flames Star Demands A Trade

A new report tonight is confirming that Calgary Flames defenseman Noah Hanifin would like to be traded to a new home. Hanifin has apparently denied all contract talks with the Flames and is on an expiring deal.

After unsuccessful contract talks, Noah Hanifin is expected to be traded by Calgary before the deadline.

It remains to be seen if the Flames will give in and offload Hanifin or call his bluff and let his contract expire. With the Flames struggling this season they would be smart to move on from a player planning to leave anyway. For now, Hanifin begrudgingly remains a Flame.

As this story develops and potential trade rumors begin to surface involving Hanifin we will provide you with the latest updates.
