The Ottawa Senators are a team in major need of goaltending help, and now one of the top goalies in the league has reportedly waived his no-trade clause for them.

During the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Jeremy Swayman emerged as the Boston Bruins undisputed No. 1 goaltender, and despite their fantastic relationship, the pairing of Swayman and Linus Ullmark may be broken up soon. There's been heavy interest in Ullmark dating back to the trade deadline where he reportedly used his no-trade clause to block a deal with the Los Angeles Kings.

Fascinating day for #NHLBruins, sounds like they had a deal on the table to move G Linus Ullmark to #LAKings that didn't end up crossing the finish line.

Now, things have seemingly changed in Boston, as recent reports have linked the division rival Ottawa Senators to Ullmark, and in a recent report, the 2 Pad Stack podcast have revealed he has now waived his no-trade clause for a potential deal.

Dom (@dominictiano) reports that Ullmark has officially waived his NTC for the Senators.

He also specifies that no trade or extension has been reached yet.

Obviously no deal is done yet, but with the NHL Draft right around the corner and both teams having major needs, a deal to send Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators could be just what both parties are needing.
