Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew sadly passed away this summer after a tragic accident and now one of his former teams the Calgary Flames has created a way to honor the brothers. The hockey community continues to mourn the tragic loss of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau after the tragic traffic accident that took their lives. Since they passed the NHL as well as the entire hockey world has come together to support and honor the Gaudreau family after the terrible loss of both men. This afternoon Johnny Gaudreau's former team the Calgary Flames announced a heartwarming initiative to honor the Gaudreau brothers while giving back to the hockey community. First with the Columbus Blue Jackets Johnny Gaudreau's team when he unfortunately passed away coming to town the Calgary Flames have plans to honor the Gaudreau's throughout the game.
