The Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers are bitter rivals, and with the latter one win from a Stanley Cup, Flames fans are trying anything to stop it from happening.

After facing an 0-3 deficit, the Edmonton Oilers have fought back to force a Game 7, with one more win making history against the struggling Florida Panthers. However, some Flames fans don't want to take the chance of the Oilers becoming the first team in NHL history to come back from an 0-3 in the Stanley Cup Finals, even turning to Greenpeace to stop it from happening;

Calgary Flames fans are turning to an unexpected organization in their time of need. 😅🤣

The Flames fan appealed to Greenpeace to get in touch with Gary Bettman about rigging Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, but somehow we doubt that even they have that much sway. This is a hilarious example of hockey's biggest rivalry in action, and if the Oilers are to complete the comeback, it will be a tough time for those in Calgary.

With Connor McDavid rolling and the Oilers coming into this one on the back of three straight wins, they'll be a nightmare to stop for the Florida Panthers, but who knows, maybe we see a Greenpeace influence on the game after all.
