How about 30,000 free pizzas to erase over 30 years of frustration? If the Edmonton Oilers beat the Florida Panthers in Game 7 on Monday and hoist the Stanley Cup, the city is in for a massive celebration.
Not only will fans be shedding tears of joy, but they'll also be indulging in a lot of free pizza.
Boston Pizza has announced that if the Oilers end Canada's 30-year Stanley Cup drought, they'll give away 30,000 free pizzas on parade day. The last Canadian team to win the cup were the 1993 Montreal Canadiens. The Oilers haven't won since 1990.
