It appears that Bruins forward Jake Debrusk is heading to unrestricted free agency according to Bruins GM Don Sweeney.

Both sides have not had any discussions regarding a new contract for some time, and the Bruins are preparing to move forward without him. Debrusk has seen his playing time reduced during the regular season, prompting speculation.
With this in motion, other teams have emerged to inquire about his services, including the Edmonton Oilers, their rival Calgary Flames, and the Seattle Kraken.
The Oilers have numerous free agents pending, and with Jeff Jackson in the interim GM role, it's possible he might look at Debrusk to add to his soon-depleted lineup.
With Edmonton marked as one of the prime locations, it seems like Debrusk wants to play in his home province.
The 27-year-old, who has just completed a two-year $8 million deal, will seek similar money no matter which team. All the fun begins on July 1st when unrestricted free agents are allowed to sign with new teams, and it all begins at 12:00pm Eastern.
