Video footage of Connor McDavid has fans calling out his injury issues

When the Stanley Cup Finals ended, Connor McDavid was revealed to have a major injury, but just weeks later, he's been seen wakeboarding.

Just a matter of weeks ago, Edmonton Oilers fans were throwing their support behind Connor McDavid after it was revealed that he played through the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a significant abdominal injury. Now however, that has come under question, as McDavid was seen wakeboarding with his fiance, showing no ill effects from the apparent injury.

Unsurprisingly, fans were incredibly quick to question the severity of the injury that limited him to 0 points in Game 6 and 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, where the Panthers would ultimately take home hockey's greatest prize in a thrilling Game 7.

Whether or not the injury was ultimately the reason why he slowed down in the playoffs, posting this just isn't a good look so close after using it as an excuse, but as long as he's back on the ice at 100% next year, he'll have all the support in Edmonton.
