Tonight Ottawa Senators enforcer Boko Imama was looking to pick a fight with star enforcer Matt Rempe of the New York Rangers. Despite asking for a fight Boko Imama was harshly denied by Matt Rempe. Early in the matchup between the Senators and Rangers, each team was looking to gain an advantage. Senator forward Boko Imama took the ice looking to take on Matt Rempe in a fight. After shoving and asking for a fight Matt Rempe repeatedly denied Boko Imama the opportunity to fight. Boko Imama wanted to go with Matt Rempe but no dice

Imama challenging Rempe to a fight 5 minutes into the game

Matt Rempe in the past has denied fights against other enforcers. The most notable instance was his early denial of Maple Leaf Ryan Reaves. Eventually, the two would end up fighting. With the game between the Senators and Rangers still in the first period, we could eventually see the two drop the gloves. The Rangers will be heading to the playoffs and Matt Rempe could be waiting for his next fight to be on the biggest stage possible.
