There was quite the scene after the Rangers clinched the 5-4 overtime win against the Florida Panthers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals. A couple of Panthers players intercepted Matt Rempe as he was heading off the bench to join the celebration.

You might've seen the footage of Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Matthew Tkachuk saying their goodbyes to Rempe after the game. It's clear that Rempe's presence, even if it's just for a few minutes on the ice, is getting under the Panthers' skin.

Matt Rempe is a hero in the eyes of Rangers fans. In the 2-1 overtime win in Game 2, he led the charge with nine hits, sending the crowd into a frenzy. The Rangers have an impressive record of 25-1 with him in the lineup. Standing at a towering 6-foot-8, Rempe skates well for his size. He's not afraid to throw his weight around and drop the gloves when necessary. And his teammates feed off that energy every time he steps onto the ice.

Yet the Panthers have their own tough guy in Ryan Lomberg, who may be a foot shorter than Rempe, but he's just as fierce. He laid out Mika Zibanejad and took down Jimmy Vesey so hard that Vesey's out for the rest of the series.

So, the tensions are running high between these two teams, and it's all part of the playoff drama. Each game of this series has been more entertaining, and Game 4 on Tuesday should be another classic.
