The new Fanatics deal is set to take the NHL over the next decade, and before even making it to the regular season, they're once again faced with major issues.

From the moment the NHL announced Fanatics as their newest apparel partner, the fans were enraged, with the products consistently coming under scrutiny for their quality over the rest of the sports they are partnered with. Before their first season as jersey partner even begins, they have once again been thrust into the spotlight, with a new post on social media showing Kraken star Matty Beniers at practice with a ripped jersey.

Unsurprisingly, fans in the comments of that post were both upset and unsurprised at the lack of quality, with many fans purchasing up as much Adidas gear as they could before Fanatics officially took over.

While the original post states that the jerseys haven't made it past training camp, they have in fact not even made it their without their first big hiccup, which is already a major black eye for the company and the NHL. Unfortunately, they are now locked in for the next 10 years with the league, but if the quality continues to dip like this, expect sales to plummet, with that hopefully forcing the NHL's hand after the major fan disappointment already.
