TNT analyst Paul Bissonnette of TNT didn't hold back for Game 4 between the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs.

With the Leafs trailing the Bruins 3-0 and already down in the series 2-1, Bissonnette tore into Mitch Marner for his poor play..

Where's Mitch Marner? This is pathetic. He doesn't deserve the ice he's getting right now. They need to sit him and set an example I don't know if he's injured, but right now, that is unacceptable.

If burying Marner while breaking down his highlights wasn't enough, Bissonnette also took his issues with the Leafs forward to his personal social media.

Get Marner off the ice. I've seen enough. Unacceptable. He's lost every single puck battle tonight. Lost it before the penalty. In complete no mans land on the PK. Enough is enough. Earn your ice.

Is it possible Marner heard Bissonette during the break? Maybe. Less than six minutes into the third period, he netted the Leafs' lone goal in their 3-1 loss, firing a back-hander past Bruins gaoltender Jeremy Swayman.

One goal though won't cut it for Toronto's $11 million man. Marner has been outworked and at times looks out of it mentally. A 30-goal scorer the last two seasons, Marner was on pace to make it a three-peat. However, while the 26 year-old making $11 million sheets per season continued to notch points down the stretch following his injury, Marner went into a scorless spell, posting only four goals over his final 20 regular-season games.

He finished the season with 11 goals and 49 points in 54 games, meaning Toronto paid $224.49K per point and $1 million per goal this year. Those struggles have continued in the postseason. Marner had recorded only two points over four games despite averaging over 21 minutes of ice time.

Yet it's not just that, even when he's not contributing to the scoresheet, he's been dreadful. If the Leafs want any shot of overcoming this 3-1 series deficit against their rivals, they need some Marner Magic.
